My scientific and statistical consultancy is organized around core methodological disciplines of precision medicine: decision analysis, causal inference and predictive modeling. I bring to my work an intensely empirical focus, enriched by an abiding belief in the practical importance of theoretically-driven advances in computing and statistical methodology.

I have recently published the first of a series of papers on Dose Titration Algorithm Tuning (DTAT), a new methodology for individualized dose-finding in oncology and other applications where a maximum tolerated dose (MTD) heuristic applies. By replacing the outmoded concept of ‘the’ MTD with a properly individualized MTDi concept, I hope to promote more effective dosing to increase PTS in Phase II and III trials, and ultimately to improve the care and outcome for each individual person with cancer.
